Formed in 1998, Hazy Fate’s earliest performance was an impromptu jam session at a backyard high school graduation party. That experience lead to the band backing an aspiring Kansas City country artist at several local shows and fundraisers. After a couple of years, they began performing as an acoustic act at local coffeehouses, charity auctions, and private parties. In 2010, Hazy Fate made the transition to performing as a full band at public venues, restaurants, and bars.

The name reflects the band’s undefined music genre and constant evolution. Each band member influences the group by bringing their own musical flavor and song selections, creating a truly diversified approach to new material. In the early days, they performed without setlists and solely reacted to crowd requests and the vibe of the venue. Years of this experience has made Hazy Fate the most versatile Kansas City cover band that can accommodate any size event.

Hazy Fate’s current lineup consists of career-minded professionals that enjoy each other’s company and share music as a mutual hobby. They thrive on providing event organizers with more than just a band performance, by incorporating event themes, lighting design, and audience demographics into their overall show planning. They truly "make" your event and not "take it over."
